It could be the special portable terminal with built-in receipt printer that is perfect for restaurants or simply mobile phone or tablet with card reader device.

So you've decided what type of hardware is the best for you, what's next? If you would google for the company that sells the pos system you are going to buy you could find out that pos systems with almost similar specs have really big price  range. So what company would be better? In this case, you have to take into account the company's reputation, cause security and reliability really matter when it comes to pos systems.

This question really can be a headache for people who are going to open own business and looking for a suitable pos system for it. There are so many types of pos systems for various tasks, with different configurations, software and operating systems that unexperienced businessmen can be easily confused.
